1. Are you a patient person?
It depends. If the person that I talk to can understand me and get what I mean quickly, then I tend to be more patient with people like this. But if people aren’t willing to be a good listener and try to cut me off, then it’s easy to lose my patience with these people.

2. Have you ever lost your patience with someone?
Yes actually quite often when I teach, because I’m a teacher and when I teach I will not only tell them the principles to follow but also demonstrate how they should incorporate those principles into their speaking a job interview skills, and when they can’t apply what I’ve shown them and they repeat the same mistakes over and over again. then I sometimes run out of patience. I’m only human!

3. Did you used to be more patience when you were younger, compared to now?
Let me think about it, I think yes because when I was younger, when I was in high school, I used to be more obedient to my mum, so I would try to follow do what she told me, and I think that’s when I was being really patient, but after going to university, I think it was my desire to grow and become an adult so I developed strong opinions about things and I have become less patient with people who don’t see eye-to-eye with me.
-
Collocation: you can develop an opinion
-
Expression: see eye-to-eye with someone = agree with someone’s opinion or attitude towards something
4. What do you do while you’re waiting for something?
I think most people are on their mobile phones all the time and I’m no exception, so whenever I go out I always listen to the news on YouTube or some English lessons, some TEDTalks, so it’s actually not about when I am waiting for something or not, it’s more like a habit – it has become a habit that I am on my phone listening to something all the time.
