Have you ever travelled by boat?

“Yes I have. Last summer I travelled by boat in the northeast of Brazil and I felt seasick, it was not a good experience. I shouldn’t have eaten before the trip, [but I didn’t listen to them]. When I boarded the boat, I already felt a little [queasy / unwell], even though I took two seasickness pills, I couldn’t avoid it. By the middle of the trip I started to [throw up] and I couldn’t stop. It was terrible, I won’t board a boat / get on a boat / take a boat trip anymore. At least the beaches were beautiful and the views were spectacular.”
