What are the benefits of sports?
“Firstly, it gives your health a boost. Secondly, it helps to motivate people so it gives them more discipline and we can increase the chance of bringing people together. Here in Brazil, there are many groups of elderly people practising sports on the squares and I think it’s a good way for them to socialise and to make friends also.”

“Surely, it’s an amazing thing they should practice not only at school but also in their free time. firstly because it helps them to make friends, develop a sense of competition. Secondly because it helps to decrease the level of child[hood] obesity which is very frequently. Finally, children need to spend time is by doing sports instead of watching TV or watching the iPad screen.”

Finally, it’s a wonderful way for the government to improve these events so it can create a sense of community that you can’t get at home.”
