Describe a skill you learned outside of school
“A skill that I’ve learned outside of school is [managing my money]. It’s an essential skill that we learn while living, rather than [studying it] at school. When I was living abroad in the UK, it was crucial for me to save money, because I was receiving a scholarship while I was studying, so it was vital for me to save money instead of spending it on clothes, parties and other things, so I was able to buy food and drink for my house. I think this is an important skill for everyone who is studying, because while studying you haven’t got so much money, and you haven’t got the opportunity to save much money, so it’s useful to have smart management of your money. If you have a part time job, maybe you can save more of it to spend in the future. So I think I managed my money well in the UK, which is a skill I can use later in life.”
