Describe an interesting foreign person you’ve met
“As I’m a catholic, I’ve actually known a father in my church for 2 years and he came from France. At the church, he said he would stay in Hong Kong and he has actually tried to learn Cantonese for a few years. He’s a really interesting person because whenever I tried to speak English or speak French to him he wouldn’t answer me because he wants to learn Cantonese. So people give us some really strange looks when they heard us talking! Also, he really loves to do a lot of things and especially, he loves to eat a lot. So when we invited him to our home we offered him a lot of really strange Hong Kong food, but he was actually really happy to try it! For example, we served him chicken feet and he [absolutely loved it]. He’s a bit strange, but he also loves to go on adventures and play sports, so often invite him to play tennis with us and when we play, he told us not to [go easy on him] and be polite. So I think he’s a very interesting person.”
