Describe your dream home

When I was a kid, for the first 10 years of my life, I lived in the same house with my mother, before I moved to another apartment until I became an adult. It was a really comfortable home and I liked where lived. It had some really great rooms and I have lots of great childhood memories from that place. But since I’ve become an adult, I have never stayed in the same place for more than a year, so I’ve essentially been backpacking for 10 or 12 years, and for the last year or so, I’m more on the way to settling down. What I’m looking for is a cocoon, as in, a place where I feel safe and protected from whatever’s happening outside. I would like to have a place where I can have a view of something, like a lake, a mountain or a stunning environment. Something like that would help me calm down after stressful moments, plus I really enjoy nature and natural surroundings, so that would be perfect for me. It doesn’t really matter which country it’s in, as long as there is internet! 

Alternative ways to explain the same idea:

• A safe-space – I would love my house to be my safe-space

• My house would be [a port in the storm]
