Describe an occasion when you spent time with a child

Last year, I spent a weekend with my cousin’s six-year-old daughter, Lily. It was a wonderful experience spending time with a child and seeing the world through her eyes. We spent the entire weekend together and had so much fun!

On Saturday, we went to a local park and played on the playground. Lily showed me all of her favorite things to do, and we swung on the swings, climbed on the jungle gym, and went down the slides. She also introduced me to some of her friends at the park, and we all played together for a while.

Later that day, we went to the zoo. Lily was so excited to show me all of her favorite animals, and we spent hours walking around and looking at everything. She loved the monkeys the most and insisted on seeing them multiple times. We also got to see a feeding of the penguins, which was really cool.

On Sunday, we decided to stay in and have a movie day. We watched all of Lily’s favorite movies, and she told me all about her favorite parts and characters. We also made some popcorn and had a snack while we watched.

Overall, spending time with Lily was such a great experience. It was so refreshing to see the world through a child’s eyes and be reminded of the joy and wonder that comes with simple things like playing on a playground or watching a movie. I can’t wait to do it again!
