Describe an unusual meal that you ate
You can say:
– what the meal was
– who was involved or organised the meal
– where it happened
– and say whether you enjoyed the meal or not

One time, I was invited to a friend’s house for dinner and they served me a meal I had never tried before.

It was a traditional dish from their home country, and I can’t remember the name of it unfortunately. It was a stew made with a lot of different spices and herbs, and it had a very unique flavor that I had never tasted before. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it at first, but I ended up really enjoying it!

My friend’s family was very hospitable and it was great to learn more about their culture through their food.
