Describe an interesting older person

– and say why you think this person is interesting

I met an interesting older person named Mrs. Jones while volunteering at a local nursing home. She was a resident there and I would visit her regularly.

Mrs. Jones was a retired teacher and she loved sharing stories about her life and experiences. I remember one time when she talked about growing up during the Great Depression and how it influenced her family’s lifestyle.

She was very knowledgeable and always had something interesting to say. I enjoyed spending time with her and learning from her.

She had a unique perspective on life that only comes from living a long time and experiencing many different things. I think she is interesting because she had a wealth of knowledge and experiences to share and was always willing to pass on her wisdom to others.
