Describe an advertisement that you do not enjoy seeing / hearing
You can say:
– what kind of advertisement it is
– what product the advertisement tries to sell
– where and when you see / hear this advertisement
– and say why you don’t like this advertisement

One advertisement that I do not enjoy seeing is for a weight loss program.

The advertisement usually appears on social media and features a person who has lost a significant amount of weight using the program. While I appreciate the person’s dedication and hard work, I don’t like the message that the advertisement sends. It implies that someone is not good enough if they don’t fit a certain body type or standard.

Additionally, the before and after photos are often heavily photoshopped, which further adds to the unrealistic beauty standards that are already prevalent in society.
