IELTS Speaking Questions 2022 and 2023 Part 2 and 3 a song you like on Mark Teacher IELTS blog and website

Part 2 –

60 seconds to prepare 📝
2 minutes to answer 🗣️

  • Describe a song or piece of music that you like
    You can say:
    – what the song is
    – who the song is by
    – where and when you can first heard it
    – and say why you enjoy it

One of my favorite songs is “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen.

It’s a classic rock song that was released in 1975, but I first heard it when I was a teenager. I love the song because it’s so unique and unlike anything else I’ve ever heard. The song is over six minutes long and is essentially made up of three distinct parts: a ballad, an operatic section, and a hard rock section. I also love the lyrics, which are so poetic and evocative.

Every time I listen to “Bohemian Rhapsody,” I feel transported to another world. It’s a true masterpiece and a song that I never tire of listening to.
