  • Describe an item was lost and then found
    You can say:
    – what you lost
    – when you lost it
    – where you lost it
    – and how you found it again

A few months ago, I had an experience that taught me the value of being organized. I lost my wallet, a small but essential item in my daily life. It was an afternoon in late July, and I remember being at the local shopping mall.

The realization that my wallet was missing struck me when I reached home. Panic set in as I recalled last using it at a coffee shop in the mall. The wallet contained not only money but also important cards and a cherished photo of my family.

The next day, I retraced my steps back to the mall. I searched everywhere I had been – the bookshop, the clothing stores, and finally, the coffee shop. With little hope, I approached the counter and described my lost wallet to the barista. To my surprise and relief, the barista smiled and presented my wallet, explaining that a kind stranger had found and returned it.

Finding my wallet unharmed and intact was a huge relief. This incident not only restored my faith in the goodness of people but also reminded me to be more mindful of my belongings. It was a simple yet profound lesson in the importance of attentiveness and the kindness of strangers.
