IELTS Speaking topic 2023 rain weather questions real exams

#1 – Do you prefer rainy or sunny days?

I prefer sunny days because I love spending time outdoors and being able to enjoy the sunshine. However, I do enjoy a good rainy day every once in a while to have a cozy day inside.

#2 – What do you do on rainy days?

On rainy days, I like to stay indoors and do something cozy, like curling up with a good book or watching a movie. I also enjoy baking or cooking something warm and comforting.

#3 – What do you usually do when it starts to rain outside?

When it starts to rain outside, I usually make sure that all the windows in my house are closed and that I’m not leaving the house for a while. If I’m out and about, I’ll try to find shelter and wait for the rain to pass.

#4 – Do you ever think that rain is good?

Yes, I do think that rain is good, especially for plants and agriculture. It’s also nice to have a break from the hot weather and enjoy a cozy day inside.

#5 – How does rain affect your life in your country?

In my country, rain is very important for agriculture and for the environment in general. It can also affect transportation and cause delays or cancellations. However, we are used to rain and it doesn’t usually have a big impact on our daily lives.

#6 – Is there any part of the country where it doesn’t rain much?

Yes, there are some parts of the country that are known for having dry weather and not much rain. These areas are usually more desert-like and have a different type of vegetation and wildlife.
