IELTS Speaking Test Part 1

Part 1 – Music – (Jan~ Aug. 2023)

Part 1 –

#1 – What kind of music do you like to listen to?

Answer: I enjoy listening to a variety of music genres, including pop, rock, electronic, and hip-hop. It really depends on my mood and what I’m doing at the time.

#2 – When did you start listening to that type of music?

Answer: I started listening to a variety of music genres from a young age, and my tastes have evolved over time as I’ve discovered new artists and styles of music.

#3 – When do you usually listen to music? 

Answer: I usually listen to music when I’m working out, driving, or doing tasks that don’t require a lot of mental focus. I also enjoy listening to music as a way to relax and unwind after a long day.

#4 – How much time do you spend listening to music each day? 

Answer: I spend about 1-2 hours listening to music each day, on average. Sometimes I listen to music for longer periods of time if I’m doing something that allows me to listen passively, like cleaning or cooking.

#5 – How do you feel when you listen to music? 

Answer: When I listen to music, I feel a range of emotions depending on the song or genre. Some music can make me feel energized and motivated, while other music can be calming and soothing. Overall, listening to music is a positive experience for me.

#6 – What do you use to listen to music? 

Answer: I use a variety of devices to listen to music, including my phone, laptop, and headphones. I also have a speaker system at home that I use to play music for parties or events.

#7 – What kinds of music are popular in your country?

Answer: In my country, pop and hip-hop music are very popular among younger generations. However, there is also a strong interest in traditional music and local artists, as well as international music from around the world.
