Vocabulary:
Nouns:
- stages of your life – a point, period, or step in a your life or personal development.
- prowess – skill or expertise in a particular activity or field.
“his prowess as a fisherman” - primary goal – first target, first priority
- career path – a sequence of jobs that make up a person’s overall career
Verbs:
- gauge – estimate or determine the amount, level, or volume of.
“astronomers can gauge the star’s intrinsic brightness” - dictate – state or order authoritatively.
- show off – boastfully display one’s abilities or accomplishments.
“he was showing off, trying to make a really big impression”
Adjectives:
- efficiently – in a well-organized and competent way.
“he worked efficiently to accomplish the tasks set” - rewarding – providing satisfaction; gratifying.
- influential – having great influence on someone or something.
“her work is influential in feminist psychology”
