• an ideal situation 

• the foreseeable future – at a time that is not long from now: soon

• a stable career – a safe job

• a drastic change – a radical or dramatic change

• radical – totally different or new
  “the city is known for its radical approach to transport policy”

• financially secure – having a stable or reliable income

Verbs: 

• settle down – to get married or commit to a married relationship

• get married
