Do you know a lot about plants?

“I’ve never read anything about plants, I don’t have green fingers and everything that I have planted in my whole life hasn’t grown because I’m not good at it .I don’t have the patience to water my plants, the only plant that has  ever survived in my apt was a cactus. I don’t have to water it, just once every 10 days so it’s the perfect plant for me. Although, my preferred plant is the orchid. I would love to get a orchid as a present, they are lovely to look at. I hope they come back and I’m looking forwarding to seeing them again in the spring.”

In Brazil is it popular for people to grow their own fruits and vegetables?

“Nowadays, most people live in an apartment so it’s not easy to grow our own fruits and vegetables, but in small cities and in Rio De Janeiro are people who live in houses, where they can grow fruits and veg because we have a good climate to plant these kinds of things. They say, everything that we plant, grows. So it’s easy if you have a small place in your house, you can start a garden and it’s easy to have them grow. Although, as I told you, in big cities, people nowadays live in small apartment, so there aren’t many green spaces. The only thing we can have is a balcony to grow herbs or small house plants.”
