1. When did you start learning maths?
I think I started when I was in kindergarten because during that time I think maths was basic arithmetic like 1 plus 1 and learning the words for numbers.
- Vocab: Basic arithmetic is the simplest type of maths. + adding / – subtracting / x multiplying / ÷ dividing
2. Do you like maths?
I think I like maths, that’s why [I chose to study accounting] and [became an accountant], because being an accountant, I have to work out figures everyday. If I didn’t like maths, my job would be very painful.

3. Do you often use a calculator?
Yes of course, every day. It’s my job so I have to use a calculator every day to send financial reports, but I used to use a calculator when I was studying at secondary school but now I’m using the calculator on my computer because I deal with a lot of complex maths / complex sums at work.
