Daily IELTS Answer: Drinking Water (Band 7.0 – Part 1)
1. How often do you drink water?
I drink water every day, because it’s so important for our bodies because our bodies are made of water. Usually I wake up in the morning and after brushing my teeth I will drink a cup of warm water to refresh myself and start the day.

2. Do you prefer a certain type of water?
I prefer boiled water, just simply boiled at home because the price for sparkling or mineral water is more expensive. Also I seldom buy bottled water because I would like to reduce my plastic waste.
- Vocab: boiled (adj.) water = water that has been boiled
- Vocab: Different types of water: [Still / Tap] water / Sparking water / Mineral water
- Vocab: My plastic waste / My carbon footprint / My food waste
3. Do you drink water from machines?
Yes of course, in my office there is a washing to serve the water. We have to order the water from a company and they will send a new tank every week and we have to replace the water when it’s empty.
- Collocation: A water tank serves water
- Collocation: replace (v.) the tank
- Vocab: the tank is empty (adj.)
